Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)

Type: Part-Time  | Hybrid (In-Person & Virtual)

Kalmind Psychological Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) to join our dynamic and client-centered practice. This role involves supporting adult individuals and couples through evidence-based therapy within an inclusive, trauma-informed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and couples counselling using approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, or the Gottman Method

  • Conduct intake assessments and create individualized treatment plans

  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards

  • Participate in clinical case consultations and team-based collaboration

Requirements:

  • RCC in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC)

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical counselling experience in North America

  • Strong clinical judgment, cultural competence, and trauma-informed lens

  • Comfortable working with diverse populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities

  • Proficiency in additional languages is a strong asset.

Registered Social Worker (RSW)

Location: Kalmind Psychological Clinic

Type: Part-Time or Full-Time | Hybrid (In-Person & Virtual)

We are currently hiring a dedicated and experienced Registered Social Worker (RSW) to provide client-focused mental health care. The ideal candidate is passionate about therapeutic work, equity, and accessible support for individuals managing complex life challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer individual counselling to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational stressors.

  • Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, social, and environmental needs to inform treatment planning.

  • Help clients access necessary resources such as housing, financial support, legal aid, or medical services.

  • Document assessments, treatment progress, referrals, and case notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

  • Offer guidance and education to families to help them better support loved ones dealing with mental health issues.

  • Work sensitively with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity and respect for all identities. 
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and uphold documentation standards

Requirements:

  • RSW in good standing with the BC College of Social Workers

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience in Canada

  • Experience working within trauma-informed and anti-oppressive frameworks

  • Committed to supporting culturally diverse communities

  • Languages other than English are considered an asset
